Wharekauhau Country Estate

Wellness Barn Spa

Overlooking the wild surrounds of Palliser Bay, Wellness Barn at Wharekauhau Country Estate is inspired by the four dimensions of Māori well-being: Taha Tinana (physical), Taha Hinengaro (mental), Taha Wairua (spiritual) and Taha Whānau (social). This inspired approach, capturing both the energy of the earth and local traditions, comes to life in signature treatments combining manuka honey, essential oils and volcanic stones. Here, where the Remutaka Mountains bow before the Pacific Ocean, this wellness sanctuary heralds an intimate communion with New Zealand’s singular nature.
